Lelica (pronounced Laleesa) is a pop/folk singer/songwriter from northern NJ. Singing and picking up instruments and plunking around since age 5, Lelica took her love for music into recording studios by age 19 as a session singer. She was first discovered and signed by indie label, Green Chapel Records, in 2009. The track, ‘Come Away’, from their outing, "Not a Moment Too Late.” was featured on ABC Family’s “Make it or Break It" and "The Lying Game".

Lelica left Green Chapel records in 2011 to release her release her first original outing with B.D. Lenz, "Without a Warning", which garnished global attention as her track, "Angel in the Corner" won 2nd place for a global ad campaign for breast cancer as well as her song 'Goodbye' getting sync placement in 'Love Is Blind' Brazil! She has been playing venues in the NYC & Tri-State area as well as some across the country for over 18 years including performances at The Bitter End, Strand Theater, Roxy Theater, Waterloo Music Festival, Skylands Art & Music Festival, the Ohio State Fair Main Street Stage, she has played the renowned Bethlehem MUSIKFEST for 6 consecutive years,  and has opened up for the likes of Chris Barron (Spin Doctors) and Christine Martucci. Lelica was also a Semi-Finalist for Z100's Hometown Hero Contest.

'Without a Warning' demonstrates Lelica's growing maturity as a writer, her impressive vocal range and control and a wide range of genres, showcasing Lelica's versatility and creativity. “Goodbye” from 'Without a Warning' was featured on Love Is Blind: Brazil and  “Angel in the Corner” was ranked 2nd place for a global ad campaign for breast cancer research!  “Without a Warning” is available for streaming and download on all platforms. Lelica's trio, The Three Lelicas, featuring B.D. Lenz and Kevin Soffera, released a christmas EP, ‘Holly Jolly Holiday’, available on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify! 

In 2025, Lelica went back in the studio to record new original music at Hybrid Studios PA with production team: B.D. Lenz & Kevin Soffera. 

NEW ALBUM, “Flicker and a Flash” released it's first single, “All Wrong” in October 2024 with rave reviews! Quickly picking up speed on Spotify, this pop ambient hit already has over 58,000 streams! Lelica's second album is a mesmerizing blend of ambient soundscapes, rock intensity, pop melodies and folk ukulele.  “Flicker and a Flash”, blends the intimate strumming of the ukulele with ambient and pop sounds, creating a unique and heartfelt musical experience.  The album's tracks capture a range of emotions and personal stories, offering a raw and honest reflection of Lelica's decade long journey from her first to her second album. Lelica brings pop infused hooks and weaves harmonies seamlessly all while electric and acoustic guitar sounds emerge and merge with dynamic drumming, intensifying the emotional experience. “Flicker and a Flash” is a genre-blending experience that invites listeners into a world where simplicity meets complexity, and every note resonates with sincerity and warmth.

Her next album is in the works with a folk/pop Noah Kahan vibe and she is hopeful to release it by the end of 2026!
